Application Development Analyst (Intermediate)

Position Summary:
TekBank is seeking an experienced Applications Development Analyst to support complex application development initiatives for state-level IT projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in the full systems development lifecycle, application design, and modern web development technologies. This role involves working closely with business users, gathering requirements, and designing solutions that are both functional and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers, business analysts, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and design technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the systems development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Provide recommendations to improve application architecture, performance, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring usability, accessibility, and security best practices.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and testing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of programming/systems analysis experience.
- Experience working closely with customers and business stakeholders.
- Experience in the full systems life cycle: analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
- Proven ability to make architectural and design recommendations.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English communication
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in systems analysis, design, development, and maintenance.
- Experience with web application development, including:
- — JavaScript
- — HTML5 / CSS
- — Related front-end and back-end frameworks
- Minimum of 5 years with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with modern software development methodologies and tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.
