Product Development Manager (Office of Information Technology)

Position Summary:
TekBank is seeking an experienced Manager of Product Development to lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and delivery of innovative software and hardware solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader with deep experience in product lifecycle management, release planning, and the orchestration of technical teams to deliver exceptional products on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee activities related to the design and development of software or hardware products, ensuring quality and adherence to requirements.
- Collaborate across functional teams to evaluate product performance, transition products from development to commercialization, and meet business goals.
- Assess and determine product delivery and deployment dates for new features and releases.
- Act as a technical consultant to product organizations, supporting innovation through research and prototyping.
- Ensure proper alignment of technology and architecture with business strategy and product roadmaps.
- Serve as a customer liaison for technical issues related to integration, customization, and development.
- Lead major product releases, feature enhancements, and responses to customer feedback.
- Oversee product delivery schedules and manage tasks across the full product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the high-tech industry, including experience managing teams responsible for software, hardware, engineering, or development functions.
- Proven experience in:
- — Managing and leading product development activities.
- — Working across cross-functional teams to support delivery and commercialization.
- — Acting as a technical consultant to product organizations.
- — Leading major product releases and ensuring successful deployments.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Ability to work on-site in Tallahassee, Florida.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.
